Iv got an 1984 f250 manual 4x4 and my spedo stoped working the gear and the cable are good because I can put a drill on it and the spedo works so my guess is the gear in the transfer case is gone has this happens to anyone and how do I go about fixing it thank you !

 

I had a problem like that, & it was something with the rear end sensor

 

his is to old for the rear sensor. started that in 88 i belive.
