I think I found the problem with zero power out on the road and extremely hard starting. Highest compression was 325psi and the lowest was 275 to 280ish...... I took it on a road trip at christmas time and on the expressway it barely would hold 70 mph on flat land had to keep it floored and it wasnt gaining any rpms. To top it all off I got a whopping 10mpg empty on the way up and 9 on the way back. This is my 92 7.3 e4od with 4.10 gears

To me this seems really low on compression.

Oh boy i guess i wont just be throwing the e4od in the trash pile. Ill just change the engine and trans out when i fix it come spring

 

Dave, you've seen videos of what mine will do with the E4OD being retarded and the engine running like crap (original injectors), if you want an auto keep the E4OD and keep it cool.
