Default tranny good but not shifting help!!!

ok so i had the tranny rebuilt 3 months ago and then last week it started to act up again skipping gears and shifting all over. so took it to the tranny place they put in a new valve body and they said it still didnt shift right so they put in some new sensor on the rear axle that senses speed still nothin. they finally said they cant do any more they dont know. so i called ford and they said it might be the guage cluster. this makes a little sense seeijnt the spedo reads way off (on the highway it says im doing 30-40 mph), the oil pressure guage is at low (not cuz the truck still runs fine not ticking or anything) and the coolent guage reads cold long after warm up (though it never really has woked right to begin with)

i need suggestions please help!!!!!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i think i might start looking at the sedo cable to see it thats broke then what?

I have a buddy that had a 94 and he chased similar problems for over a year before they figured out it was the wiring goin to the trans. Wiring looked fine lookin at it but when cut open it was all coroded green and it literally disentegrated. Only thin I can figure is over the years the insulation on the wire cracks or becomes porous. Worth checkin it out I guess.

i do know the sensor on the injection pump does need to be properly set for shifts to be correct. not sure how to do this though.

Default transmission shop

I would most likely suspect the actual rebuild if they put in a new valve body after wards for you they didn't do much of a job to start with and they certainly should know how to set every thing up including sensors and cables.

i just checked the rear vss on the rear diff. the wireing looks fine so does the sensor itsself brand new the shop put it in 2 days ago.

tone ring is inside the diff. it is what the vss gets signal from.
