hey guys, i have had this truck for over two years and all its ever caused me was head ache and grief. but i love this truck and this is the truck i learned to mechanic on. but i just got a turbo kit for it, and what do i need to know about putting a turbo on a natural aspirated engine?

 

how much of the kit do u have, is it complete? what kit is it? they will bolt right on if u have all the parts.

 

Well as far as I know all of it! I got the turbo, oil lines, the pedastool it sits on, the exhaust part (all 3 pieces ncluding the down pipe) the only piece that I don't have is the V clamp that connects the turbo to the downpipe. Anything iim missing?

 

turbo to intake? what kit is it?

 

Yes I have the turbo to intake and I thinks its the ats, but the turbo has garret and international on it.

 

does the turbo to intake peice look like a snail shell? maybe post some pics of it.

 

garrett ih would be a stock turbo i believe from newer 7.3's or powerstroke

ok, yea that is an ats unit. do u have the driverisde valve cover? the ats kit relocates the CDR valve to the valvecover.

 

how much do these turbos actually do?
