I bought a new cab for my 85. this cab is from a 94 and in amazing condition. here's my problem. the wiring. can i use the dash in it if i switch my harness? or the harness in it? There was a powerstroke in the truck it came off of if that helps. and if i have to do rewiring what type of tool do i use to test which terminal on the connector goes to which printed circuit?

 

i would install your entire dash and harness into it. u will need to do some fab work where the harness goes threw the firwall.

 

what are we talkin as far as fab work goes? I can fab pretty good, just like to know what i'll be lookin at

 

what some have done is cut out the firewall where the wiring harness goes threw, and graft that onto the new cab in the proper location.

 

sounds easy enough. the previos owner may have jacked mine up a little so that might be difficult but that'd be an easy fab job.
