Head bolt torque sequence For F350 1986 6.1 liter International?
Hi all,
I got my F350 after it had new head gaskets put it in. (MISTAKE ON MY PART IT IS A 6.9 LITER!)The guy just did one adjustment of the head bolts. (65ftlbs?) and does anyone know the sequence to get to the final adjustment? I'm wanting to get this right as the previous owner hadn't had the head bolts readjusted in about 500 or so miles and it has been a year!

Hi DieselCrawler,
I got your reply but it only had your signature line in it. Do you have the data on torquing the head bolts to completion? Also the which bolt to tighten first to which bolt last? Center to outside or just each bolt around the head, cross tighten, etc.?
