Ok Bombers, got a question.

One of the brackets that holds my rear leaf springs on broke, I've been a hard time finding any similar year models in the junkyards near me. If I were to find a F350 or F250 that's newer, would it work on my truck or are the measurements different. Any help or advice would be appreciated, cause my suspension needs some work.

Just go to ford and get a new one

 

Talked to my local ford dealer, they don't seem to know if they can get the brackets as apparently according to them they aren't made anymore.

so as to my original question would a newer model year leaf spring bracket work?

 

Any 92-97 F-250 or F-350 bracket would work. If you were thinking newer than that, it probably wouldn't work but I'm not positive on that. I'm aware of the option of upgrading to Super Duty leaf springs, then you would need to swap out all the brackets.

 

ford still makes them. see if u can find another dealer.
