Well guys I've been giving it a lot of thought and I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm gona do a cummins swap in this truck rather then jus turboing the idi.

Its a medium duty engine. Came in buses, dump trucks, stuff like that. Its like the DT466, which seems to be a little better known, but smaller. The DT360 is about the same size as a Cummins. Also a lot of tractor pullers use these motors. There's a certain year range that you want, but I forget what years. On some, I guess you can put a p pump from a Cummins on them for easier tuning, reliability, and parts availability when something needs fixed. Its been done before, its just not as common a swap as a Cummins. I want to do it someday.

It'll be more work than a Cummins conversion but you'll be happy with it when its done.

Or move the fire wall back and shoehorn a DT570 in it and have the big 12 valve.
