whats up guys. doing some budget upgrades to my truck..got a 93 f250 single cab long box 7.3 idi ....painted the frame with some stuff i got from advance to hopefully slow down rust 99% but i also found a spoy right under neath the hood opener in the cab after i took my rug out to pressure wash it(turned out very nice) i was just wondering if i could get some opinions on how or what to use for my cab so i can prevent rust..i hope to have this truck for a good 10 more years and i dont want to put my foot threw the floor in 5 years..thanks guys

 

take some acid spray it down with that, let it sit for a hour so wash it off and u can wire wheel it or just paint in with some gloss or flat balck paint. Its makes the truck look good to and stops it. Diesel power mag. has a section in this months mag

either one I think or meratic acid but be careful that sh*t will burn like hell and eat your *** alive

 

yea i had battery acid spill on me before...it sucked

 

meratic acid will eat though concrete.

ok spelling is not my forte.

 

i got borred tonight so i wondered over to my garage and started to clean it up in my cab...found that some a**hole poured bondo in my cab to cover up rust instead of doing it right... what they did is left all sand and debries ext.. in the corner poured bondo and put a sheet of thin metal over top..i got my BFH and a chiesel and went to work to get to a spot that wasent so bad... took some rust out wire wheeled it sanded it blew it all out with air hose and put in a nice big dip to help me then cleaned it up for time being with some rustolium black paint.......if i can ill put some pictures after this if i can figure it out...
