Well I'm doing the glowplugs tomorro i got the motocrafts and i gotta take out auto lites that the previous owner put in there. Any advice becuase i here the autolites are a pain to get out.

Hey guys I just did my glow plugs today and it doesnt seem to have done anything. Iput in the motorcrafts so what should i do next to fix the smoking? If I do the injectors I will get the bb codes.

Also when i took out the glow plugs the one over cylinder 3 was wet with oil while all the other ones were dry. How big of a problem is that?

Are the plugs burning long enough to heat up to temp? Did you check for air intrusion? Even if the plugs are working, if the fuel isn't there quick enough, all the incoming air will cool things back down resulting in hard starting.

 

I'm gonna put in the bb code injectors in tomorrow. Are the delphi bb codes any good? What do u reccomend.

 

bb code are the best. where did u get them from? were they pressure matched?

 

My neighbor works for Delphi and hooked me up. He works in their injection department and made sure they were set correctly.

What should I do about my injection pump as I have a feeling that is shot. Rebuild or buy new.

 

u can buy a rebuilt one. make sure the shop is reputable. ask ur neighbor, he might know a good company. do not get one from DPS or Pesocola diesel.
