Default rear antilock?

hey all i just got done putting a cool wood flatbed on today and took it for a test drive and got up to about 40mph and a light came on that said rear antilock. never had this come on. any idea what this is? the truck feels the same and does not act wierd. any suggestions?

would check to make sure you didn't pinch or stretch a wire during bed install.

Check your fuses too, a blown brake light fuse can also trigger the ABS light.

ya i looked at fuses and all are good no problems everything elso works. what does this light mean anyway when it comes on normally?

failure of the rear abs system. it causes the rear brakes to be able to lock-up which can cause a slide or to bog the truck down in some cases. would try to get fixed, but look how long people drove before abs was invented. worse on snow or ice about lock-up.

get a voltage meter on the rear axle sensor too. its on top of the center of the axle you might be unplugged too.
