I could do that, but me being myself, would have to swap in the dash from the newer truck too. Too me, its just easier to get the newer truck. I'll keep looking and see if I can't find a 92-94 IDI maybe.

Do ya'll think this one might be worth checking out?

1994 FORD F-350 DIESEL!!!!

Any ideas what's up with the turbo on it and what a front main seal costs? The big thing I got against 94s is that I'm sure getting parts could be a nightmare sometimes since they had the IDI NA and turbo, and the PSD.

Well, I just moved across the county and had no internet for a week so I lost out on the 94 F-350 but yesterday I came across this deal. two work trucks one price

I called the guy up, told him what I have. I sent him an email with pics of my truck and he would pass it on to his father-in-law who has the trucks. Still waiting to hear back from him but it sounds like a decent deal. The 92 has the 7.3 and last week it just wouldn't start. I asked in my email if it cranks, what color of smoke if any at all. Any other ideas on what could be wrong? He said they weren't sure what was wrong, just that it won't start. The other truck is an 89 F-250 with a 300 straight 6 gasser, complete truck. The flatbed on the 92 is not included.
