Default fuel mileage

ok i know i keep comin with the questions but im still learnin about these older idis. just wonderin what an average mpg is on these trucks i know it wont be great but mine just seems pretty low. iv got a 94 crew cab 4x4 7.3 ats turbo auto tranny not to sure of the gears but at 70 im runnin just under two grand. has 285 tires and about two flats on the pump. see im learnin i know what flats are now! thanks to someone explainin it to me. haha thanks again guys!

about 12 mpg and i live out in the country so just about all my miles are highway

the auto tranny will bring it down some, matters how heavy ur foot is also.

they shoudl get around 16-18 on highway, more if tuned and timed right.

i used to get 25mpg on the highway at 75 mph with a 4 speed manual and 35 inch tall tires and 3.55 gears. not sure on rpms. no tach

My 6.9 gets around 15. I live in Pittsburgh, so it's all city driving. My pump is turned up 1 flat.

I average around 14-15, got as good as 18. The auto is supposed to be better for the highway, my mpg above 60 really sucks with the 5spd. I get better city mileage. I would think you had 3:55 gears, I have 4:10's with 285's and at 60mph I'm turning just under 2k rpm.
