Default 1985 Ford 6.9

I have a chance to buy a 1985 3/4 ford with the 6.9. The truck is 4X4, it is an ext. cab longbox. It has 120,000 miles on it. The truck is very solid, it is from colorado. What are these trucks worth . I have a chance to buy it for around $1200-1500. Is this too much. There is also a 86 F250 regular cab 4X4 with 300,000 miles on it with a 6.9. what do you think these are worth.

Buy the one with 120,000. I got one for $2500 (147,000 miles) and it runs great and is in excellent shape. If you can get it for 1500 that would be great! Low ball offer the 300,000 mile one though.

ext. cab is going to be worth more but it just depends on which you want. these 6.9 will last/outlast any cummins if taken care of correctly

the first one is def worth the 1200-1500.

the 300000 mile one is more worth 700-1000 if it is still in good shape.
