Default RUNNING HOT

MY TRUCK HAD BEEN RUNNING AROUND THE MIDDLE OF MY TEMPERATURE GAUGE. BUT RECENTLY THE ENGINE HAS BEEN RUNNING CLOSE TO OVERHEATING. I HAVEN'T LET THE ENGINE OVERHEAT, CAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DO ANY CRITICAL DAMAGE. IT SEEMS LIKE A THERMOSTAT PROBLEM, I DON'T HAVE ANY LEAKS OR ANYTHING IN THE RADIATOR OR MOTOR. I MAY REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

replace the thermostat with a ford or IH thermostat only. the aftermarket ones arent built the same and overheating will occur under heavy loads.

also dont trust the factory gauges. even a dirty ground to the cab will throw off the gauges.

Default NO CIRCULATION

I OPENED UP THE RADIATOR CAP, AND THERE WAS NO CIRCULATION HAPPENING WITH THE COOLANT. EVEN WHEN I HIT THE ACCELERATOR. I DID THE SAME THING WITH MY SUBURBAN TO COMPARE, AND WHEN I HIT THE GAS ON THE SUBURBAN, COOLANT WAS MOVING GOOD IN THE RADIATOR. COULD IT BE THAT THE COOLANT IS NOT CIRCULATING?

radiator could be clogged up. get her warm and see if there is a difference in temps from top to bottom of rad with a infared heat gun.

I've had a similar issue, but only when towing uphill. Do y'all recommend the same thing for my situation?

i have seen water pumps that have worn down all the blades to where they can't move any fluid also. but would start with the thermostat.
