Default NEED HELP BADLY

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY TRUCK SUDDENLY SPUTTERED THEN SHUT OFF. ALMOST AS IF IT RAN OUT OF DIESEL FUEL. BUT I KNOW FOR SURE THERE WAS FUEL IN IT. IT WAS ABOUT 20 DEGREES IN PITTSBURGH WHEN THIS HAPPENED. COULD THIS BE FUEL GELLING EVEN THOUGH I RAN THE TRUCK FOR ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OR GIVE ME POSSIBILITIES ON WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE THAT WOULD BE GREAT! THANK YOU

hold on. how much fuel is in the truck? 1/4 tank or less?
the pickup tubes break off and start to suck air at 1/4 tank. very common problem.

if ur tank is full, i would assume u are buying cheap fuel and it gelled up. remove fuel filter, install new one and fill it with diesel 911. pour the rest in the fuel tank and crank for 20 seconds. if doesnt start, let sit for a few mins and try again.

Another thing to try, turn your igntion on and disconnect the fuel shutoff solenoid on your IP. When you reconnect it you should hear the solenoid click. No click, no fuel.
