Default 1993 F-250 7.3L IDI PULLING ISSUES

New to this web site.
I need some advice on how to up the pulling power of my truck.
I pull over the Grapevine and the Tehachapi pass in California about 4200ft elevation.
I went from 8,500LBS 5th wheel to a 12,000 5th wheel.
I have a 1993 F-250 7.3L IDI. The last model before the powerstroke.
Everthing is stock on the truck and it has 240,000 miles on it. It does have a Banks turbo.
It has been a great truck and has pulled fantastic in the past it does not have the issue. I am the one that went to the heavy trailer.
What is the best Mods that I can do to up the pulling power?
Thanks Big JJ

Open up the intake and exhaust. You could try turning up your injection pump or going with a performance pump and injectors. Agnem over on oilburners.net can build you a really good pump and injectors. They are called Moose pumps and Moose misters. Everyone who has used them loves them.

Thanks for the answers.
I still have some questions. Please parden my ignorance.
Pap
You said a downpipe???
What is that for a pre powerstroke 7.3L IDI.Maybe a bigger exhaust off of the header?
Sycostang
You said to open up the exhaust and intake. Exhaust is that the downpipe that Pap was talking about?
Intake if I have a blower on it already it seems to me that the blower will regulate how much air is going in at that point regardless of the intake. Are you suggesting some type of air scoop to increase the volume avalable to the blower?
I have already tuned the pump up 20% when I had it installed. What is the best injectore to put in to Max preformance?
Thanks for you help with this.

Since you have a banks turbo kit, you probably already have a better turbo down pipe than what ford would have offered. Hopefully it is about 3" in diameter(The pipe coming off the turbo). What size is your exhaust pipe under the truck, 3"-4" would be optimal.

As for the intake, do you still have the little snorkel that attaches to your radiator support? It's kind of restrictive, a hypermax cowl induction kit would be a better way to go.

I have heard nothing but bad things about DPS injectors. The best I have heard so far is to get some moose misters from Agnem over on oilburners.net. The problem with a lot of aftermarket and even OEM replacement injectors is they aren't pop tested to function equally. This results in injectors that spray to soon or too late. I'm pretty sure Agnem pop tests them to ensure they all pop at the same pressure.

Thanks you for the answers.
We are getting close to Christmas and we have family coming to town.
The boss says I will need to put this project off until 2010.
I will post what happens with it when I am done.
Thanks for your help and have a Merry Christmas.

I have a 7.3 IDI with ATS Aurora turbo system with intake and full exhaust. I have 5.13 rear end gears and ZF5 speed standard. No intercooler (not needed) running 10 pounds of boost. Max EGTs are 1000* F it never goes over that. I pull a 38 foot 5th wheel toy hauler that has 200gal of fresh water, 70 gal of gas in the camper for the genarator and the fuel station to fill the cycles. On board air compressor and I haul two road bikes a hayabusa and my wife's 08 Bandit 1250S. Weight for just the camper is just over 16,000 pounds... I haul down the road at 65mph with no problems.
