Default Looking at a 1993 w/turbo.

I found a truck I want to check out, it's a 1993 super cab ford with the 7.3 and an ATS turbo, 5spd, 117k miles for $6k. Truck looks real good in the pics, called the dealer and he said it was a real clean truck...why would he say otherwise, but regardless does this sound like a good deal? Here's the ad.

looks like a good buy. ATS makes a good turbo for the IDIs. That's who Ford went to when they put them on the IDIs from factory.

I should have my money on thursday so I'll cruise on up there and check it out. It's hard to find a clean low mileage diesel with a 5spd around here so I'm hoping no one snipes it from me.

Haha The old 7.3 Its a damn good engine indeed clear up to the 444E This new 6.0 & 6.2 I haul things in my 6.9 far larger and i pass the damned things as if they were still in 2ed ear. A absolute piece of **** move Navistart did and discontinued the 7.3 here in the the state still building them in Australia from freshly made blocks and heads.

I believe I posted in the show and tell, but I got it. It's really clean, only 117k miles. Looks almost new, just a few scratches on it.
