I just bough this 7.3 and as far as i know you cant get a chip for it. How do I get more power to the old girl? 7.3 idi turbo diesel

 

Get a fuel tech to turn up your pump a little but being Indirect Injected there is only so much you can do......

 

Yeah, no chip for it. you can turn up the fuel pump as it is but most will recommend at least having a pyrometer put in so you have SOME information and don't turn it up too much and do damage. If you want significant power increases you'll need to get a turbo on there.

First thing you should do is fix everything thats broken and do all the maintenance. That can make a night/day difference in older model vehicles in general.
