I just bought an 84 f250 4x4 6.9l idi. Previous owner said it needs a new injector pump, but doesn't put out any smoke when you turn it over. Truck only has 112k miles on it. I am curious on whether the IP and injectors from a 7.3 can be used in my 6.9? If so, is it only from the 7.3 idi or can the powerstroke components be used as well? What other parts can interchange? I am looking into getting this around 250-325 HP. Any tips or info on where to get good parts is greatly appreciated. Also no turbo setup has been added yet.
