1990 Super Duty 7.3L IDI Oil filter adapter
Hey people,
I am having the hardest time tracking down an oil filter adapter for a 1990 F Super Duty 7.3L. The oil filter adapter that goes on one end of the oil cooler was damaged and needs to be replaced. Called around a bunch of places, Ford has discontinued the part and it's not available from several used parts facilities. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I might find one of these oil filter adapters? I believe the Ford part # is E4TZ6881-B. There is also an international Harvester part # 1805846C1.
If I can't find the oil filter adapter, I'm also open to any suggestions for bypassing the oil cooler. Ideas are much appreciated. Thanks.
