Hello, I own a 1991 f-150 v8 302efi 2wd. I've always loved diesel trucks but have never owned one. I'm looking into swapping my current engine with either a ps or cummins I would like to try a 7.3l swap but have heard its to much weight. I guess my real question is. What engine should I swap it with that won't destroy my bank account but will also give me the power and sound I'm looking for. I would probably add in some oversized injectors and what not to get some smoke rolling. What's my best bet and what's the process and how much am I looking at spending?
