94 7.3 IDI TURBO REPLACED RETURN LINES AND O RINGS STILL LEAK?

Default 94 7.3 IDI TURBO REPLACED RETURN LINES AND O RINGS STILL LEAK?

OK SO I JUST SPENT THE BETTER PART OF MY DAY RIPPING APART MY TRUCK. OK AND DRINKIN SOME BREWS WHILE THE WIFE WAS OUT! ANY WAYS I REPLACED ALL MY INJECTOR ORINGS AND BRASS WASHERS ALONG WITH THE PLASTIC CAPS AND WOVEN FUEL LINES WIHT CLAMPS THE NEWER VERSION ONES (RED CLAMPS) RIBBED NIPPLES ON THE CAPS. AND THEY STILL LEAK!!!! I WENT BACK THROUGH AND TOOK ALL DRIVER SIDE APART RE-TOURQUED INJECTORS TO 125FTLBS, MADE SURE PLASTIC CAPS WHERE ON RIGHT AND ALL HOSES WERE GOOD AND STILL LEAK. WTF I AM LOST AND MY SHOP GUY KEEPS TELLING ME I GOT THE WRONG O RINGS AND THE DIESEL SHOP HERE ORDED THE WHOLE THING AS A KIT PAYED $86 FOR IT. IT SHOULD BE RIGHT ANY IDEAS. AND ITS SMOKEY COULD YA POINT ME IN THE DIRECTION FOR A THREAD THAT HAS ADJUSTMENTS TO GET IT ALL IN TIME.

Well first question, did u install them dry or did u use silicone lubricant ??

I don't recall the injectors needing 125 lb\ft of torque .... Might wanna check that out... I think factory was 55-75 iirc ...

Dis the plastic tops go on smooth or did it take a little bit of umpf to install ... What injectors do u have or did u just get new ones ?? Bb coded ??

I put diesel on them to lube them up, the plastic tops went on with a pop so to speak they went on with some force.
i double checked and it was 55 ftlbs sorry lots of stuff going on. i have the BB code injectors.
supposedly the motor was either rebuilt or replaced with a rebuilt one at 70,000 do to a front end collision.
i do not know if its the original or another one any way to fig that out a cast number location or....... how would i be able to tell if it was gone through.
and can you tell by looking at the flywheel underneath to see if its a solid or a DMF.

Ok , most likley your tore them , need to use something like wheel bearing grease or something thick ... work them down slowly in a circular motion to get them down carefully , ..

the engine castin # is on the right side of the block just between the IP and the intake .. take a look at my 87 F250 build pics ( you can see mine, will help ya see )..

if it has a 4 spd, is will have a solid flywheel, if its 5 spd most likley DMF will be found, pull the trans inspection cover and take a look ... you will be able to tell real quick..

ok well i when i took them off to recheck everything they did not look tore but guess they could have small hairline rips. however i do not have the money to spend on another kit right now anywhere i can get just the o rings.
i took the inspection plate off and do not know the difference in looks of the flywheels any pics on your build page.

OK HERE IS AN UPDATE.
I WENT THROUGH THE O-RINGS AGAIN AND REPLACED JUST THE O-RINGS WITH SOME GREESE ON THEM. SINCE ALL OTHER THINGS WERE NEW. I ALSO INSTALLED A BOOST GAUGE WHILE I WAS AT IT, JUST UNDID PLUG ON TOP OF INTAKE HORN AND INSTALLED THE LINE THERE. THE MAIN LINE TO THE IP WAS A LITTLE LOOSE SO I SNUGGED IT UP. I HAVE 1/4 TANK IN THE TRUCK AND IT RAN FINE BEFORE THIS PROCESS AND NOW IT STARTS RIGHT UP THEN I GIVE HER A LITTLE THROTTLE AND IT REVS TO 2000 HOLDS FOR ABOUT 2 SECS THEN ALMOST DIES THEN BACK TO NORMAL IDLE. I BLED THE INJECTOR LINES ALSO AND FUEL FILTER ONLY HAS 1000 MILES ON IT. ANY IDEAS ON THIS I HAVE A REBUILT IP ON HAND BUT WAITING TO INSTALL IT TILL I NEED TO. (MAYBE NOW IS THE TIME HUH?) ALSO HELD IN THE TIRE VAVLE ON FILTER WHILE IT WAS RUNNING AND LOTS OF FUEL CAME OUT SO LIFT PUMP IS WORKING.

OK SO I DROPPED THE TANK THIS MORNING AND TOOK OUT THE SENDING UNIT. REPLACED THE CUP ON THE BOTTOM WITH SOME LONGER FUEL HOSE CUT IT AT AN ANGLE SO IT WONT SUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. STILL SAME ISSUE WITH IT SURGING I AM GOING TO START A NEW THREAD SEE I CAN GET SOME MORE INFO ON THIS THANKS,
