Default h1c turbo.. and lowering compression

A guy has a holset h1c turbo for $150 on CG. seems like a good price so would it be worth it to buy it? what would have to be done other than routing it?

oh and what would be the cheapest safe way to lower my compression? not only for the turbo but for easier starting. i suppose doubling head gaskets would be dumb for turboing but would it work? if not what should i do?

Head studs, check out the cam here on this page ...

Camshafts

these will help a bit .. but in all reality .. in needs to breath in and out .. big exhaust and big air cleaners .. works wonders and its a hell of a lot cheaper too ... my $.02

Shaving your pistons is about the only way to lower your compression.
