Default 99-06 cab on 1990 frame

I'm wondering if anyone has done this and documented the swap. I got a great deal on a good running 1990 rollback, the cabs in decent shape but looks a little dated. I want to buy a newer body style cab complete with everything and make everything function as it should and look clean. If the cab is remotely close in dimensions, im confident i can make it work. If anyone has put any thought on issues that would have to be adressed (steering column, cab mounts, front end components, wiring, cluster, ect.) feel free to chime in.

Are they the same cab, and bed style, If so, then they should be a direct body swap. However if not, you may or may not have to make custom brackets onto the frame for the bed, and the body mounts. I have never done a body sway, so I'm not 100% sure. Someone with more knowledge will chime in

im pretty much just wondering how close the dimensions are from a '90 cab to the 99+ superduty cab, both regular cab. I'm also wondering about steering column issues

i cant be sure on the exact fit for them years but i have done a few body swaps . when going from 90 to 99 on most vehicles the frame design will be different i am sure you will have to cut off the body mounts and re weld them were you need them you may also need some blocks to level the cab and box along with the front clip i personally buy the blocks but some guys have used hockey pucks with good results. i did a chevy a while back had to cut the frame down a bit to get the front clip to fit the cab and bumper .
