1986 ford f250 6.9 diesel cranks but won't start
Ok guys I did a trans fluid and filter change about 2 months ago but I did not get anoufe trans fluid so I parked it haven't had time to mess with the truck till now. So when I go to start it it cranks but won't fire before I parked it I ran it dry of fuel so it wouldst be sitting in the tank. Ok so I put some fuel in the tank it's getting fuel to the filter. And when it's cranking there is a blue white smoke. Thanks guys sorry for the long post

What's the temp outside? Is it cold and are your GP working, all of them? The white smoke is raw fuel and the blue could be fuel and or oil trying to burn off from sitting and not firing and sealing up. Don't use ether, but you could give it a small blast of wd-40 down the intake and see if it fires that way. WD is flammable, but it lubricates a bit, so it better that ether.

Would a clogged fuel filter cause the cranking but no starting.
