In all honesty I haven't had a moment in the past few years to look under a 2wd ford ..... that being said;
Obviously your gonna need and axle , springs, and your gonna need to centerline the axle in wheel well and make sure its centered also ... springs make this a bit easier unless you get the wrong shackles or get the wrong off set shackles .... not entirely sure if you will need or have a sway bar but in most cases if so the holes for mounting should already be there ...
Its not a week end project that I can tell ya ... I did a Chevy and it was no walk in the park .... If it were me ... I would source a 4x4 chassis with the same cab/box configuration and do the cab/box swap and then engine and drive train .... makes things a little easier and there is usually extra parts that may be helpful done the road

right ... do your home work first then tear down ...
Like the D60 - came in caroius sizes ranging from 4k to 6k in weight capaicity ... shackles were different depending on the variables, and brake& wheel bearing configurations according to eack specific trucks spec's ... also steering boxes are different from 2wd to 4wd ... manny things will have to be addressed .... Its gonna take a bit, but if you gather all the parts together in one spot..... it shuold be pretty straight forward; Depending upon ur skills and knowledge of how this all needs to go together ..
