Default 6.9 rebuild thoughts

Hello everyone - My first post on this great forum, so much information!! I have an '86 Ford F250 4x4 with a T19 4 speed and 6.9 with ats turbo installed. I picked up an extra 6.9 engine, complete, that I thought i would start rebuilding and had a few questions. There's a lot of information on this forum and I've found most of the info, but there's a couple few things that continue to elude me...

My plan is to install my turbo on the newly rebuilt 6.9 (love the turbo!!) and here are my questions regarding that.

As i understand it, the 6.9 head gasket is a weak link, are there upgraded gaskets available for the 6.9? Something like the 7.3 head gasket material... My concern is having a solid head system with the turbo installed.

Also, are the stock fuel injectors (6.9) satisfactory for a turbocharged engine, or should i be using the 7.3 turbo injectors?

Is there anything else I'm not thinking about? (my wife would say yes) Primary use for the truck is towing (about 10k # trailer), I'm not interested in breaking any speed records, I would just like a very reliable engine with power enough to drag my trailer up hills at a reasonable rate.

Thanks in advance!!
