Ok, first thing first, need to make sure that your coolant is SCA pre-charged..... if its not you could Cavitate the cylinder walls ( cavitation is the number one killer of these engines , it will pop holes in the cylinder walls over time , its super important ) .

No P/S in R ??? thats an odd one .... is it an automatic ?
door switch in the drivers door is weasy to get at..... screws are ... one in the pull pocket where u pull door shut, a few @ bottom possily depending on the year, one near the the front of the door just below the wing window, ... and I also have to replace the door regulators on both sides one works a bit and the other one is toast

keep us posted and will get ya through the small stuff ... how does it run ?
Also I am running Royal Purple 15/40 and mines getting almost 20 on freeway(19.7 best).
Pm me if you need specific help, here daily

Thanks for the help. I bought Delo 400 15/40 changing the oil today. Peak Full Strength Coolant and going to flush the tranny soon I hope. Runs good, little starting glitch, have to wait about 3 seconds after the wait to start light goes off then it starts right up. Haven't had it off the dirt road yet, bought it with no-op registration so I'm not sure yet at higher speeds.

Just make sure that coolant has SCA precharged ..... need to have nitrates in the coolant if not u will be really sorry ..... that's what keeps the cavitation from eating homes in the cylinder walls...... grab some ... PenCool if u don't have any clue and pour abi ut half the bottle in for starters .... then u will need to get some sca check strips to verify ur sca precharge in the coolant ....... this is by far the MOST IMPORTANT thing with these engines .... don't mean to harp ..... don't want ya to kill a good engine...... that would suck

Thank you for your help. Any idea why it won't start now? Cranks, but won't turn over.

We think it didn't get enough fuel, air coming out of the injector lines. What is the best way to bleed the lines?

crack the lines on top of the injectors about 1/2 turn to one whole, then crank till fuel comes out

also ... if you want to prime faster, pull your filter nd top it off with ATF ... its perfictly ok to use and will clean out the engine either way ... and it helps to lube the pump... .... ben using atf ( I use Dextron o dex3 ... dont use synhetic's ... they dont burn real well )..
