Default Fluid leak help

Alright guys, I am brand new to the diesel world. I have always driven gas trucks but decided it was time to sack up a little. With that being said, I have a 1993 f350 LWB 4x4 that has red fluid leaking from the front of the engine (not the rear). When I turn, it makes a humming noise so I'm thinking that it's power steering (95% positive) but I've read that it could be tranny. I don't want to sound stupid but, again, this is new to me and I DO NOT want to mess this up. Thanks guys.

It sounds like it could be the power steering, and the transmission cooler is also up front. But since your hearing a humming when your turning,i'm thinking power steering.
