Hi. I have a 6.9 idi that wont start. The truck will run on starting fluid but not of diesel. I put new return lines on it an new o rings around injectors. I also put new fuel filter on it and new diesel it the tank. When the truck turns over their is white smoke coming from exhaust. I bled all the injector line several times too. i dont know what else to do to get this truck running. Is their a solenoid that could be bad or am i just not doing something right . Please help!!!

Maybe is your fuel pump

 

Injection pump is new. I didnt put it in so how do u tell if it is in time? Or could it be the power supply? Thanks every one for helpin me out on this

 

Also check to see if you glow plugs are new. The cylinder may not get hot enough to ignite the fuel in the cylinder

 

How do you test the glow plugs?
