Default What kind of muffler should I get?

So I have a IDI with a factory turbo. It's straight piped and Im wanting to put a muffler on it. I'm wanting more of a pop sound than having to get up to atleast 3k rpms. Any suggestions?

I like the truck style muffler thats straight through but a large diameter to keep it quiet at idle, but wide open it wont restrict flow.
I have a BANKS

Agree with big redd and kraftdinner. Straight pipes is best! Flows and sounds best.

Dude if you want it to sound like a 77 Chevy with the pipes rusted out then go get one. Other then that just learn to enjoy the smooth low rumble of a big block diesel.

try a banks exhaust or a single stack would sound really good because of the turbo. I'm running a banks exhaust and I think it sounds really good not too loud and not too quiet either just perfect.

I agree with others that straight pipes sound very good. But if you want a muffler, Magnaflow is a good choice. imho.

Whatever muffler you do choose, it should be a straight through design meant for diesels.
