6.9 overheating
My 87 6.9 never ran hot untill the radiator froze it thawed before I started it now it shows hot on guage and water does not appear to circulate. I'm new to diesels and would appreciate any help
I'm going to pull heater hose today and check pump I really hope I don't have to change the pump as it sounds like a pain in the #$%%

I thought I might add I did not start untill after it had thawed for several weeks if that changes anything.

I tried pulling heater hose and turning over engine no water movement so I guess the pump is gone. But it is original pump so I guess it is time anyway. I a little worried about getting fan off of pump, it is left handed threads isn't it
