ok so out of bored'm i turned up my injector pump...i have not drove yet only started it...but now my question is,....is turning up the pump a bad thing??? would it hurt the motor? i only turned it up a flat and a half can i get help on this?????

 

The only problem is 6.9s get hot fast. So get a pyrometer from autozone for 30 bucks so you don't overheat it. 6.9s are notorious for burning valves and cracking heads when the exhaust temp is too high. Also another mod is to crack all the injector lines loose and advance the timing of the pump about 9*. Turn it an 8th inch to the passenger side. But gauges are a good idea

 

What is a 9* mean?

 

9 degrees. Or 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch.

 

If u turned it up too much then u can cause some serious damage to your motor.
