help!!

I have a 1990 7.3 idi with E4OD tranny and every once in a whole my overdrive light starts flashing it lasts like a day and b4 I kno it it stops should this cause concern?? Any ideas

Not sure if its the same as my 02. But mine did it too. And it was chaffed wires in the shifter column. If you remove the column cover you should be able to find the chaffed wire right on top.

I'm definitely gonna check that thanks I hope that's all it is its got me worried my trucks like my baby try to do what ever I can
