Default Front axle size F250 Info needed

I guess I should not say axle, I am getting ready to tear into the front end of my truck replace uper and lower ball joints and while everything is apart replace all bearings and U joints. When I called to order parts they asked what size is the front end. So my question is what size do I need.
Door plate info
trans Axle spring front GAWR
C 39 93A 3968lbs

Truck is a 1990 F250 4x4 7.3 idi

Thanks
Tim

Is it ifs or a straight axle? If it is ifs then it is a dana 50 ttb. If a straight axle then I could probably figure it out for you

There are actually two different types of TTB front ends so it can either be the Dana 50 or 44 so if you go to order parts you need to specify which one you have... look on the axle on the rear of it there should be a sticker on it somewhere. On the sticker it should have the numbers 44 or 50 on it. So if the sticker is there you are lucky! i went through the same trouble doing bearings on my f250 but in the end i ended up swapping a dana 60 in anyway

yeah when i did my balljoints it was a 96 f250 and like fummins said there should be a stamp basically on the under side of the pumpkin. on mine it had a dana 50 ttb but it was the heavy duty axle i found out cause i brought my ball joints down to the parts store it was a 4600 lb axle or somthing like that. your best bet is to bring your old ones to the parts store if you can. get the right ones the first time.
