85 f250 6.9 the truck has been sitting for like 8 years now. doing it for a senior project. injector pump was bad, had it redone. i dont know what has to be done to time it right. im gonna try and get a diesel mechanic over and help, but i would like to know how to do it. anything would help, pictures too. thanks

 

There is a notch at the 12 oclock postion on both the timing cover and the pump. Just align those and you're all set. It will need to be retimed at the injectors and pump wear. I forget the interval.
