I'm looking to buy a Dodge four door truck between 2002-2007 with the HO 5.9 Cummins. Mainly was looking for a four door (need lots of space in rear cab), long bed, 2500 or 3500. The Question is: besides the mega cab short bed.....do all other truck models in this year range have the standard four door configuration as far is seating volume is concerned? I've looked at the four door long bed trucks but the space in the back don't really have that much leg room. Besides the mega cab, is there any other four door truck model within this year range that has more (the most) space in the back?

They only made three cab configurations of the third gens. The regular cab, the quad cab, and mega cab

 

Yup Mega Cab is the biggest! They are quite spacious

 

Just to clear up the OP, third gen four doors started in 03 (2500-3500). 1500's got the new style in 02 but they're not really "trucks", are they?

 

I like the new 2002 and up 1500's actually! I'll agree they definitely not as heavy duty as the 01 Ram 1500, or the 2500.... But nice trucks
