Question Buildin' A Puller

Woke Up An Decided I Am Buildin' A Sled Puller. Lookin For A Solid Regular Cab To Start With. If Your A Puller, or Built One _ I Need Your Exp.

I Could Tell You How To Rebuild A Porsche 944 With My Eyes Closed, But I Have NO Idea How To Build A Competition Sled Pullin' Truck. What Should I Get To Start It and Start Competing The Right Way - It's A Lot To Ask, but I Am ACTUALLY Doing This.

I Have A Powerstroke Daily Driver Now - But I Am 100% Heart Set on A Cummins'

sorry no help here but I can tell you this. For a puller I think your 100% right so far. I would start with a cummins also. Nothing against ford or chevy I just think the cummins is a better pulling truck, I'll pay for that comment

Well, having your heart set on a Cummins is a darn good start!

What association and class are you building for? It would help to know that so we know how big you are looking to go. Any estimate on a HP number?

Sorry, For The Delay..
Think I Am Shooting For A 12V Cummins.

DazedandConfused - Frame and Front End? Front End Axlewise, or Front End Body?

As Far As Horsepower, This Will Be A Designated Truck To Pullin' Sleds.. Go Big or Go Home Right?

Frame and Dana 60 for a 96. Probably be cheaper to do it like that and find a body and build from ground up.

well, you can the stock turbo (no money) class, the 2.6 wheel class, or the 3.0 wheel class......in the 3.0 you are running against open driveline trucks (in most associations) so you better be packing a FAT wallet......back ohio we required "stock" driveline in the 3.0.....
