I am trying to get the boss here at freightliner to get one on a sterlling bullet truck. they have several 4500/5500 in stock and more coming. hard to keep them on the ground being different from dodge a bit. the dodges don't come with the chrome grill and a few other things.

 

And you have most certainly been misinformed. The vast majority of Diesel Engineering Technology patents are held by Gale Banks. You can thank him for what we have in the diesel community today.

 

Sweet truck but I can do without the exhaust. I am thinking 8" mitres.....
Bank$ is a turn off too. I say it needs a P-pump and tuning by yours truly....

 

"Diesel Power" magazine did an article on this truck as well,also alluding to what the "F"in BFT meant...pretty sweet truck,IMO it needs a rear seat though.
