Probably not but you never know. At least we got the car going.

Just heard on the news, it was minus 50 (actual temperature not windchill) and colder north of here.

FYI.. the outside temp monitor on the truck only shows to -40. Thats a nice lil' incentive to keep going to work in the morning.

Alot of the Diesel pumps at teh gas stations have frozen up. There are people calling into work saying they cant get fuel to drive to work.

At least there is enough snow to go snowmobiling

Espar is nice. This is the first year I have had one.. What a cool device. Nice to get in and the truck is at running temp. You get heat right away and ready to roll. Plug in doesn't do that! A few minutes idling to warm the oil and hit the road. Also nice on site not to leave the truck run all day, have a warm lunch without even starting the truck. Oh and it uses less than 0.5 Litres, not gallons per hour. (0.13 USGallons/hour). I had mine bought and installed for less than $2K.

Should have...I havent really tried it. I put new batteries (cheapies) in last month and it was struggling to start at -9. Didnt even try at -38.

man my dads started up just fine the weather was pretty good and even when it's the middle of winter it still is nice here.
