Charging System Issue
OK, my volt meter stays around 8 volts (grid heater relay kicks out). So I take it down to Carquest, and his meter shows I'm overcharging (had his meter on the pass side batt). No codes, no CEL, alternator was new early this year.
So with that in mind: bad alternator, bad battery, bad regulator (ECM)??

This is why I got a good relationship with my dealer. Said the cable between the two batteries is crapped out. Volt meter reads off the drivers side batt, while the pass side gets overcharged (went through 3 sets of batt's cause the pass side got cooked).
