new truck
that's the tough part......finding one that's not beat all to crap, over 300,000 mi or price to the moon. I looked for over a year before i found mine. but now that i have it i won't even look at gasser...
not sure where you are located but keep an eye on southeasttexas dot com and craigslist in the houston area or san antonio area. i have been buying common rail trucks from 7k-13k depending on the truck and problem. one of my last trucks i bought was an 06 3500 lonestar 6 spd 4x4 had busted comp rings in #1 and #6. i gave 13k out the door. drove it home pulled the engine and was back in a running truck for about 2k in parts later. i keep an eye out down here and they are alot of diamonds in the rough to be had if you are willing to grease up a knuckle and work on them.

You should be able to find one in your price range no problem!
