I'm going to guess and say High Rolls/Mt. Park? That whole area was my old stomping grounds when I was younger. If you've been there a long time, I wouldn't be surprised if we know each other. I raced motorcycles all over the area.

Yup, up in Mountain Park. Was raised here, left in 81, came back in about 92 or 93. The will have to make me leave in a pine box this time around.
if we don't know each other I would be surprised, but I can almost guarantee that we have alot of known people in common!
This truck came from one of the old timers over across the hiway in High Rolls also.

 

I left there in '80, came back in '84, left again in '92 and have been back in Texas since '95. I'd be willing to bet we do know some of the same people if not each other. My dad lived outside of Alamogordo from '78 until he died in '94.
Have they managed to burn the rest of the train trestle to the ground yet? I remember climbing all over that thing years ago. Been run off the golf course at Cloudcroft a time or three for riding street/trail bikes on the golf cart paths too. Fun times..
