They can if they're not "E" rated, or if the pressure gets too low for "E' tires. And you'll REALLY feel it if you've got paved roads with major semi-truck traffic that have those worn in ruts in the asphalt. You'll feel like you're all over the road even if you're not.

Yeah mine are e rated. But I got 20's and my ride just sucks. I like my wheels, but I'd switch back if I still had the stockers.

i'd check you're front drive shaft also. just a warning if it starts vibrating and you can't seem to find the problem check that or your transfer case will break in half on you. it happened to me going down the interstate.

My 02 rides way better than my 05 ever did. Both were stock but the 05 was 4wd. 02 has a set of Monroe Gas-matics that may help.

20 inch wheels will ride rougher even with a perfect balance and lower pressure, you give up alot of sidewall absorbtion. i just replaced my 275/55 20s with 305/55 20s (same brand but went from a highway terrain to AT) they added an inch of sidewall and i can tell a big difference even at the same pressure.
