yup ive got the entire kit from genos just waiting for good weather and a long weekend to fix it

Dr. evil do u happen to know what the battery terminals are made of that the guy at custom battery cables sells not sure if u bought terminals from him or not i just dont want any of those lead cheap-o terminals just curious if u know

also if anyone knows where i could rent crimpers from and a heat gun like any chain of part stores that usually have them i just got off the phone with autozone i figured they would have some but they dont have crimpers or a heat gun just wondering if any body knows of a different place i could rent from

You have to go to a tool rental place....RSC Equipment is the major one up here...try them if you have one close

Use 2/0 welding cable. I would strongly suggest crimping instead of soldering. I did a couple of solder joints and didnt like the results. You dont have to buy a crimper you can rent them for a day.

I contacted the battery cable place... We will see if they email me back.. Mine are BEYOND shot. The clamps are broken in half.

hell I can make battery cables I have all the stuff to do them and I have MANY used stock cables to mock up off of

I also used the marine/rv style batt terminals with big ring connectors ( from home depot) and the stock cables. That way it is easy to hook up accesories too. I've been running the aurozone brand Terminals for 3 mounths (on a 1st gen) starting it every morning cold with zero problems.

Where did you get the brass terminals?? Don't think custombatterycables has them?? Take it you made yours? Thanks for the note on soldering them - I was going to go that route but may not now!
