Hmmmm useful knowledge. I've never owned an auto so its not a strong area for me .

I've always been a big fan of suncoast, but I may have to check into Goerend if I ever try to get serious drag racing the Fummins

I have a 01 2500, automatic,4wd 4.10 gears, looking to lower the shift points on the overdrive&lockup. I see ther a ton of controllers out there,I'm not going to do any major mods to the truck, don't need to have it spinning 1500-1600 on my 35mph street. It locks up @ 37 mph 30 - 32 will be just fine, the 1-2, 2-3 up shift is fine,I'm talking this in a unloaded condition,I realize loaded would be diffrent. Thanks JOHN

Seems people HATE or LOVE Suncoast & ATS. If they are in love with one company, they seem to hate on the other.

I've seen several posts of people hating on Suncoasts trannys, their horrid customer service, and their inflated prices. Also heard people that love them to death.

Hear the same things with ATS. Guess it really depends on where're buying the tranny from.

Everyone that claims to have run or is running Goerend only has good things to say. Even Suncoast and ATS lovers give props to Goerend.

It should really just come down to what transmissions are installed locally to you. That way when/if they fail, it's a short trip to get it warrantied and fixed.

Suncoast customer's currently have to go to Florida, or drop ship your transmission to them.
