Default Front Bumpers, Not Factory Ones

I am currently looking at purchasing a front bumper for my 05 3500. It has to have room for a 12,000lb warn, and not stick out a country mile from my grille. I currently have an Ali-Arc on now, its a nice bumper, but doesnt have winch capabilities.

My 96 had a Trail Ready bumper, which was a very well built bumper, had room for my winch, lots of lights, but is HEAVY as hell. I had some sort of homemade bumper on my 01 with room for my ramsey, but it had no protection. I am kinda leaning towards the ARB bumper, specially with the $1500 price tag, and with the Canadian dollar the way it is, I am in the market now.

Here are some pics of what I had and have

I would look at the Road Armor and Alien Patrol bumpers. We carry the Alien Patrol. Much better priced, and designed and built by the founder of Road Armor. Last one I installed was for a second gen and it wieghed all of about 150 lbs (max) and had plenty of room for the winch.

The sport issue, that I know of on the second Gen Dodges is there is a lower lip on the bumper cover that makes it different from all the other trucks with the chrome bumper, and being that lip is part of the plastic cover, you cant remove it.

the grille drops down into the bumper on the second gen sport trucks, look at your bumper on the red truck, see how its flat from one side to the other, the sport trucks require a dip about 2 inches deep in the bumper the width of the grille. i want the Ali-Arc like DuluthDiesel has over on CF.com, its like their semi truck bumpers, look up his name over there and check it out, looks better than the regular Ali-Arcs.....
