The last time I replaced the track bar, I noticed really thin metal where it bolted in.
Dang holes were almost egged out. I do have a hard time keeping it on the road on a heavy cross wind.

BTW, got over 120,000 on it now. So I guess, go through the entire front end.

If you click on the link in my signature, near the end of the thread you will see a list of all reported causes of front end/steering issues that I have gathered so far.

Track bar is a big factor also, if you have put a leveling kit on it you need to get longer lower control arms to center the axle.

my buddy has a 04 2500 ex cab short bed 4x4 with the hemi in it and its got the death wobble bad. used to start at 70 now its 55. the owner before him complained to the dealership enough that the truck got sent to the factory and got a whole new front end suspention and componets put in it and it still does it. they told him that the dodge frames are so stiff that there isnt enough flex to absorb any shock or anything... thats about all i know about the death wobble, just dreading the day mine starts doing it...

^^There is no way it was centered if you went from stock height to over stock height. The control arms are meant to be at stock height not 2"+ over. Yes it does make a difference.

But whatever is clever. Ive never had death wobble on mine and I have the OEM track bar with a rancho leveling kit with longer control arms. Been on for close to 5 years now with 170K.

Default Death Wobble

I have a 93 and when I got it from my brother the wobble was bad but especially when braking, which was my first clue. Turned my rotors at a michine shop to perfection, new pads. Whala the death wobble was gone.
