I wouldn't call it full load unless you are either climbing a mountain or pulling a 5-ton trailer with the skinny pedal on the floor, at 2k rpms or better.

Understand, just be advised your VP could be sucking alot more fuel than you realize without reading the gauge under real load.

You can tape the guage to the windshield or wiper and take your truck out for a good rip. The go pedal on the floor is Wide Open Throttle (WOT or WFO )

2k rpm is far from wide open throttle. It like likely time that you start putting away a few bucks here and there for a better lift pump.

Do you guys think I could use that type of guage to verify the pressure that turns on my BD low fuel pressure warning light? I'd probably only be able to check the pressure at strter bump and during idle, but I could watch the guage after shut down (and turn the key back to the on position to power the light) to watch the pressure blead down and see at what pressure the light comes on. I like a $15 test guage better than a $200 in cab fuel guage.

I went and got me a 0 to 30 psi gauge at Graingers for $8 to use with the kit instead of the 0 t0 100 psi gauge.

You do not need a $200 gauge for the cab - and anyone that tells you that doesnt know what they are talking about. Ive had a $50 mechanical guage in my cab for 7 years now. Its never missed a beat and never leaked a drop of fuel.
